(Copied from my old blog)
This year I participate in the NaNoWriMo 2o12. Which is the InterNational November Writing Month. This is a writing contest where you have to write 50.000 words in one month. That is: the 30 days of November.
The contest is with yourself. You won’t win any prizes, except for the honor of having made it.
Most people think this means (bad) quantity instead of fair quality, and this is in my opinion something that is heavily stimulated by the organization. I wouldn’t dare say that I usually write quality pieces, but to spend a month’s worth of energy in quantitative rubbish is a waste of my time.
